Hi
I would like to give you a little in site into why I have become an Innate botanical selections practitioner.
Animals are in my blood, I have been fortunate to have dogs in my life since growing up and fell in love with horses at primary school after hanging round with my best friend at the farm and helping look after her pony with her. From then on iv never looked back, my life has been filled with warmth and happiness from being surrounded by dogs and horses. I now have cheeky Charlie a labradoodle and Patrick my Dales pony.
I have always been the type of person that liked the more natural approach. Over the years for my animals and myself, iv tried to avoid pharmaceuticals unless necessary. Whenever I could, I would turn to homeopathy and natural remedies.
I came across Rachael Maxwell the founder of Animal Botanicals in 2023 whilst searching for ways to help my pony. Patrick has a muscle disease. He was diagnosed in 2019 via a muscle biopsy with Idiopathic myopathy / RER he was only 4 years old. I had him tested for all variants of PSSM now known as MIM, Lymes disease, sycamore poisoning, the list is endless. He was found to have raised muscle enzymes, his CK is always very high, figures of 2100 up to 3600 so far. Exercise does not seem to make any difference to them either. I could tell you all sorts about his health over the years, if you would like to know more and how I'm helping him please pop me a message and id be happy to tell you more, or find my Facebook page Idiopathic Myopathy RER in horses where I have also shared a few posts about our journey.
After following the advice and information Rachael was sharing, I started to see positive changes in my pony, changes I could not have imagined and only hoped for. This was enough to guide me towards doing one of her courses. After a lot of time deciding on which one would suit me, I chose the practitioner one, because I wanted to not only help my pony but go out and help others. This course has been a huge eye opener for me, its allowed me to connect with my animals more than I anticipated, iv learnt to listen them even more than ever. The course covers horses and dogs, so this has allowed me to involve Charlie as well with the sessions, he absolutely loves them and engages really well with them, in fact he will tell me when he needs a session.
Now that I have gained my qualifications, I look forward to offering my services to you all and sharing the magic of botanicals
